Nothing Comes from Hatred

A zine/fanzine is a unofficial collection of fanwork created around a specific theme. This zine will contain artwork and writing focused on the characters of Naoki Urasawa's PLUTO series. Once completed, the zine will be available for purchase, with proceeds going to charity.

We will offer both a digital PDF, and physical printed zine!

The zine will measure 6"x9", and will feature perfect binding. Page count TBD.

The profits from this zine will go to a to-be-determined charity. You can view a list of the charities suggested during our interest check here! Once all participants have been confirmed, the charity will be determined by vote.

All contributors will receive a physical and digital copy of the zine.

Right now, we are hoping for around 20 contributors with a mix of writers and artists.
Due receiving much more interest than we expected, we have invited a total of 36 contributors!

Submissions should be generally SFW, but things like canon-typical violence or mature themes are fine. Works should focus on the cast of PLUTO, but inclusion of related characters is fine when appropriate. (Ex. something like portraying a character alongside their counterpart from Astro Boy would be no problem.) If you have a specific question, feel free to ask.

Also, it should go without saying, but all work should be 100% your own and the use of AI generated images/text is prohibited.

Yes! There are separate applications for writers and artists, and you can submit both if you'd like.

Please note that if you do apply for both, you will only be chosen for one of the roles. Consider indicating if you have a preference when filling out the forms.
